Afro-Canadian Feast

To celebrate Black History month, Saraya organized our students to create a Afro Canadian feast, that also would be a fundraiser for the Haiti relief fund. The feast was a cornucopia of Caribbean, African, and Canadian foods. Veggie Patties, Chicken jerk, Fish Jerk, Rice dishes, fried Plantain....mountains of foods were presented in our lounge. It was a cuisine-topia! It was a great success with students and staff who cooked and served this delicious buffet. Thanks to Saraya, who organized this wonderful community event.

Bowling

Inglenook begin it's new semester with a community social event. This semester, our school went bowling. Not just bowling, but cosmic bowling with 'black lights' and good ole rock and roll music. It was a fun event. There were prizes for the highest score and the bowler who used the most creativity in their approach to bowl. Thank to all staff, who helped make it work and the people at Bathurst Bowl, who have not only the best bowling alley in town but the best French Fries!
