Movember

Movember is long gone but the memories of the month are still fresh with the school. Inglenook had a number of supportive events around men's health that were fun and educational. Our 'men making cookies event' was a great success. Shotbread cookie dough was rolled out and the men made and baked the cookies. The men did a fundraiser 'a cookie' sale and it was a wonderful event. Thank you.

Brickworks picnic

This autumn, Inglenook community high school went to the Brickworks to celebrate the bounties of summer. Ravi and his outreach group made the lunches and our school heading down to the Brickworks by walking through the Donland 'forgotten' river ravines. It was a beautiful day and we had a great time. We ended our trip in our annual pi/pie ceremony where we counted down pi to the 10th decimal and then ate 30 pies as a group. Thanks to all for a great trip.

Music Day Inglenook

It is the end the year of space. Inglenookers achieved celestial, star driven goals. This year was a great journey of travel in space, in time and in our hearts. Thank you Irene, Fizza, Athina, Wendy, Tatijana, Rob, Paul, Heather, Mona, Gerry, Giselle: our great staff for all the energy and guidance through the celestial spheres and stargates. Congratulations to all our grads, see you at our October graduation celebration and awards. To all, have a great summer, enjoy the time with your friends and family and spread the news about our school.

Skiing

Inglenook,S.E.E.D and East York alternative school had a wonderful time on the slopes of mighty Mt ST. LOUIS. Our skiers and snow boards had a super day. The weather and ski conditions were near perfect. Our Ingladventurers had 'gnarly' time on the slopes and, of course, the cafeteria poutine was a hit. Till next year...dream of snow!
